FROM HORSE FARM VISIT TO STIRRUP INNOVATION
His partner’s passion for equestrian sports and many visits to the stables gave EquiStair® inventor Jürgen Weirich the vision. The master metalworker saw the need for a way to make mounting easier and got started in his company.
After a short period of tinkering and trial and error, the prototype of today’s extendable EquiStair® stirrup was created. After numerous tests and further developments, the product was patented at the end of 2023 and sales started in the company’s own online store at the beginning of 2024.
As a young start-up with high quality standards and the aluminum specialist “WSW Profiltechnik” behind him, it quickly became clear to Jürgen Weirich that, in addition to intelligent technology, only the highest quality materials would be used and that production would take place 100% in Germany.
